ABOUT

Here you are. Now take a breath.

I know life is often challenging and uncertain. This is one of those moments. Now breathe through it with me, because I suspect that if you have landed on my page, you are looking to change, improve or honour your mental health and I wholeheartedly want to support you. I want to acknowledge this step you are taking, as seeking support can be very difficult to do. Let me assure you that therapy does not need to be scary. Whatever it is you came for, I am confident that I can support you. I can help you care for your wounds without overwhelming you. I can provide you with skills that meet your everyday needs. I am here to listen. All your thoughts and feelings are welcome during our time together. Life throws hurdles at us, and every person can use some support. Ready to discover the possibilities for nurturing yourself?

Here are 3 simple steps to help guide you.

Step 1: Thank yourself for practicing self-care today.

Acknowledge that you are one step closer to a more mindful, beneficial & authentic self-care routine.

Step 2: Think about what is stopping you from seeking therapy. What is your first hit? The first thing that comes to mind? Is it finances? Is it fear? Acknowledge that all your thoughts and feelings are valid, AND let them flow through you, not stop you.

Step 3: Book a free 15 minute consultation call with me, to see if I align with your needs, therapeutic approaches, fees, etc. I look forward to building a warm, safe and fulfilling therapeutic relationship with you!

Acknowledgement COVID-19 Pandemic:

During this time, you may or may not be experiencing increased anxiety, job losses, struggles with self-care, boredom, the impacts of social distancing, isolation, financial struggle and much more. I know that any of these things can take a huge toll on your well-being. Connection and resiliency is more important than ever during times of uncertainty. Life is not on hold because of COVID-19, in fact, life continues and taking care of your mental, emotional & physical health is more important than ever right now.  My hope is to support you to help you create and practice extreme self care during this time. During this time, I am offering sliding scales for those in need. Please note: due to the COVID-19 crisis, counselling appointments may be held by phone or via a secure video platform.
