ABOUT

Here you are. Now take a breath.

I know life is often challenging and uncertain. This is one of those moments. Now breathe through it with me, because I suspect that if you have landed on my page, you are looking to change, improve or honour your mental health and I wholeheartedly want to support you. I want to acknowledge this step you are taking, as seeking support can be very difficult to do. Let me assure you that therapy does not need to be scary. Whatever it is you came for, I am confident I can walk alongside you. I can help tend to your wounds gently and offer tools that support your everyday life- without overwhelming you. Most importantly, I am here to listen. All your thoughts, feelings and experiences are welcome during our time together. Life throws challenges our way, and every one of us can benefit from support. Ready to explore what nurturing yourself might look like?

Here are 3 simple steps to help guide you.

Step 1: Thank yourself for practicing self-care today.

Just being here means you are one step closer to a more mindful, beneficial & authentic self-care routine. That's something to honour.

Step 2: Notice what might be holding you back. What is your first hit? The first thing that comes to mind? Is it finances? Is it fear? Doubt? Acknowledge that all your thoughts and feelings are valid, AND let them flow through you, move through you, not stop you.

Step 3: â€‹Book a free 15 minute consultation call with me. Let's connect and see if we're a good fit. In our call, we can talk about your needs, my therapeutic approach, fees, and anything else that matters to you. If it turns out we are not the right match, I'd be happy to offer you resources or recommendations to help you find the support that aligns best with your journey.

I look forward to building a warm, safe and fulfilling therapeutic relationship with you!

Acknowledgement of Post COVID-19 Pandemic:

During this time, you may or may not be still experiencing increased anxiety, job losses, struggles with self-care, boredom, the impacts of social distancing, isolation, financial struggle and much more. I know that any of these things can take a huge toll on your well-being. Connection and resiliency is more important than ever during times of uncertainty. Life is not on hold because of COVID-19, in fact, life continues and taking care of your mental, emotional & physical health is more important than ever right now.  My hope is to support you to help you create and practice extreme self care during this time. I continue to offer sliding scale fees for those in need following the pandemic. After the success of therapy virtually, I continue to hold appointments online, and I encourage scheduling through phone or a secure video platform to ensure the most comfortable and safe experience for you.
